Santa Fe

Santa Fe provides plenty of opportunity for representing soft architectural forms and variations on the color beige. I much prefer this color in Santa Fe than the beige in my suburban neighborhood. I also enjoy not having to be so tidy with the edges. Thank you, Santa Fe.

Museum and Shuttlecocks, a Progression

The South Lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City features two of the museum’s four Shuttlecocks, designed by Claes Oldenburg and Coojse van Bruggen. The playful sculptures envision the museum as a net and the lawn to its north and south the badminton court.
